| WA660N
wireless N Access Point & Repeater is designed for
users looking to create a wireless network or to connect
wired device to an existing wireless network.
WA660N is the latest addition to ConnectGear's wireless
N product family. It works with 802.11n wireless
devices as well as legacy 802.11g and 802.11b products.
The Universal Repeater function could
extend the wireless coverage and signal strength for the
existing wireless environment. This function is
compatible with other wireless APs and Routers.
This feature can be used to build up a large wireless
network in a big space like airports, hotels and
schools, etc..
The WDS (Wireless
Distribution System) function works similar to the
Universal Repeater function which allows this access
point to act as a wireless LAN access point and repeater
at the same time. This feature requires other
devices (APs and Routers) to also support WDS. It
is also useful in building up large wireless networks in
big spaces. It is also ideal to bridge networks
between buildings where network cable connections
between the buildings are not possible.
In addition to the ESSID and 64/128-bit WEP
encryption, WA660N also supports advanced security
features such as MAC access control, IEEE 802.1x
authentication, TKIP, AES and hidden ESSID to help build
up a secure wireless network.
WA660N is a web configuration device. You can
configure WA660N through the web user interface with a
standard browser.

* - Actual data throughput may
vary. Network conditions and enviromental factors,
including volume of network traffic, building materials
and construction, and network overhead can lower actual
data throughput rate and reduce the coverage
area.
