With its Wireless Distribution System (WDS) function, WA620G can act as a wireless Access Point and Repeater at the same time.  By utilizing multiple WA620Gs, user can build up large wireless networks in large spaces like airports, hotels and schools, etc...  In addition, this feature can also be utilized when connecting segments of networks between buildings where it's impossible to deploy network cables.

In addition to the ESSID and 64/128-bit WEP encryption, WA620G also supports advanced security features such as MAC access control, TKIP and hidden ESSID.

Compliant to both IEEE802.11g and IEEE 802.11b standards, WA620G works flawlessly with wireless devices equipped with wireless adapters such as ConnectGear's WE340G (802.11g Cardbus PC Card), P440G (802.11g PCI adapter), and WU240G (802.11g USB Wireless adapter).  WA620G comes with RP-SMA detachable antenna, and it is easy to configure using standard web browser.
