| WA520
provides Access Point and Repeater functions
all in one box. WA520 supports Wireless
Distribution System (WDS) which can increase the
wireless coverage area by utilizing multiple WA520s. In addition,
this feature is utilized when connecting segments of
networks between buildings where it's impossible to
deploy network cables.
WA520 also supports Station Mode (AP
Client Mode). By setting WA520 in Station Mode and
connecting to a network device's Ethernet port, it
allows the network device to access the wireless
network without changing any configuration.
Compliant to
the IEEE 802.11b standard, WA520 connects wired LAN to wireless devices equipped with
wireless LAN adapters such as ConnectGear's WE320
(CardBus Wireless Card), WP420
(PCI Wireless adapter) and WU220
(USB Wireless adapter). WA520 offers
long distance range of operation, and provides seamless roaming throughout your wireless LAN
infrastructure. WA520 is easy to install and configure using
Web based configuration.
