provides Access Point, Repeater and Bridging functions
all in one box. WA500 supports Wireless
Distribution System (WDS) which can increase of the
wireless coverage area by utilizing multiple
WA500s. In addition, connecting segments of
networks wirelessly between buildings can be achieved
using WA500s' bridging function.
Compliant to
the IEEE 802.11b standard, WA500 connects wired LAN to wireless devices equipped with
wireless LAN adapters such as ConnectGear's WE320
(PCMCIA CardBus Wireless PC Card) and WU200
(USB Wireless LAN adapter). WA500 offers
long distance range of operation, and provides seamless roaming throughout your wireless LAN
infrastructure. WA500 is easy to install and configure using
Web based configuration.
