UB502 supports a transmission rate of up to 480Mbps and it is also fully backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices.  UB502 is ideal for connecting USB 2.0 and/or USB 1.1 devices such as external storage devices, Scanners, Printers, Digital Cameras, Keyboard, Mice and Network connections to function simultaneously on your notebook. 

Optional full-specification switching power adapter (UB-Power) is available.  With the use of the optional power adapter (UB-Power), UB502 can supply up to 500mA power to each downstream port which guarantees sufficient power to any high power consumption USB devices. 

Installation is quick and easy; simply slide the UB502 into the Type II CardBus slot on your notebook and 
you are Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ready!
