 ConnectGear's HDMI Extender Over Cat.5/5e/6 (HLTR10) is a perfect little device to extend the range of high definition digital video & audio signals using Cat.5, Cat.5e or Cat.6 cables.  The HLTR10 consists of one transmitter and one receiver.  HLTR10 extends your HDTV display up to 200 feet away from your HDTV source using two Cat.5, Cat5e or Cat.6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cables.  

Delivering HDMI signal over cat.5/5e/6 allows you to take advantage of your UTP cable infrastructure already installed for a cost-effective and reliable installation.  The HLTR10 is ideal for applications where you need to place your HDMI display in a remote location.  It's designed to be used where you want the video presentation in one room but  to have the source to be out of sight and in a safe and secure environment in another room or on another floor.
